We have the power to change things. Our collective bargaining rights, job security, working conditions and benefits, including KPERS, can be affected any time by anti-worker legislation. We must elect and support policy makers who value, who believe in, and will stand up for working Kansans.
We’re not big business or a corporation so how can we get our elected leaders to understand our issues and help protect our jobs and retirements? Our COPE fund, administered by the American Federation of Teachers - Kansas, allows us to support the election of candidates who will heed our voices and advocate for legislation that will improve our livelihoods and communities.
